Resin normally refers to an organic polymer (Under normal temperature, it is solid or semi-solid state, some time, also liquid state), having soften or melt range after heated. When it is softened, it with flowing tendency under the external force. Generally speaking, any polymer serves as raw materials for plastic products be named as resin. Resin is the main raw materials for producing plastic.  It is also used for producing paint ( The main film-forming materials for coating such as alkyd resin, acrylic resin, synthetic fatty acid resin. This kind of resin mainly produced in Yangtze river delta and the pearl river delta where coating industry is well developed.  Synthetic resin (macroporous adsorption resin, ion exchange resin as well as some special resin )is widely used for

separating and purifying the impurities in the liquid.

Resin categories

According to a source of resin, it can be divided into natural resin and synthetic resin.

According to the synthetic reaction, resin can be divided into addition polymer (such as polyethylene, polystyrene, Teflon) and condensation polymer (such as phenolic resin, polyester resin, poly-amide resin, etc.);

According to the molecular main chain, resin can be divided into carbon chain, hetero chain polymers and element organic polymer.

According to the properties, resin can be divided into thermo setting resin, thermoplastic resin, synthetic resin etc.

Main Equipment and Function Introduction

Reaction Kettle: Normal pressure or pressurized vessel for sulfuration, nitration, hydrogenation, alkylation, polymerization, condensation processes; It consists of kettle body, kettle cover, jacket, agitator, driving device, shaft sealing device, bearing (ground support type or platform lug type) and other parts. Different shaft sealing, cooling/heating method and mixing method can be customized.
